“There’s always another battle to be won.”

The Old Globe CoLab (Community Collaboration) presented a new musical by Karen Ann Daniels, music by Brandon Cerquierdo and Karen Ann Daniels, directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, musical direction by Leonard Patton. As a child Ruby Bridges made history during the battle for school integration in 1960. But what value does it have for her and us 40 years later? Three performances were held at George L. Stevens Senior Center. Many audience members exclaimed afterward that they would like to see this wonderful, collaborative effort expanded to the stage at The Old Globe.
